Skoda cars won the "Auto Trophy" in Germany this year three times over. Just like in 2009, the Skoda Yeti won in the category "Off-Road Vehicles up to 30,000 euro".

The compact SUV Skoda Yeti gained 22.1% of votes from more than 100,000 internet users and readers of "Auto Zeitung."

The Roomster was just as successful in the "Imported minivan" category. The compact MPV got 19.8% of votes, putting it in first place.

The Skoda Supert Combi closed out the excellent scores for Škoda. Readers of "Auto Zeitung" voted the roomy version of the Škoda flagship as the overall winner in the highly competitive special category "Best Bargain Car" with 22.6% of votes.

Dr. Winfried Vahland, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Škoda Auto, accepted the Auto Trophy for the Škoda Yeti, stating: "These awards are a great honor for the whole Škoda team. It confirms us in our decision to offer basic values in the future in an even greater array of models. As part of the Volkswagen group we want to satisfy our customers with cars with excellent amounts of space, practical and ingenious details and a fair price."
